1. Introduction

 

LIFEPLAN by MYRY (“LIFEPLAN”, "MYRY", “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a productivity and planning app designed to help users organise their life through a custom user interface.

 

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use LIFEPLAN by MYRY, including when you connect third-party services such as Google Calendar and Google Tasks.

 

By using LIFEPLAN by MYRY, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

 

2. Information We Collect

 

We may collect the following categories of information:

 

a) Information you provide directly

 

This may include:

 

  • your name

  • your email address

  • account login details or profile information

  • feedback, support messages, or other content you submit to us

 

b) Google account data you authorise us to access

 

If you connect your Google account, we may access only the data you explicitly grant permission for through Google OAuth, such as:

 

  • your Google Calendar events and calendar metadata

  • your Google Tasks lists and tasks

  • basic account information such as your email address or profile name, where needed for sign-in or account identification

 

Google requires apps to request the minimum relevant permissions needed for their features, and to be transparent about what data is accessed and why.

 

c) Technical and usage information

 

We may automatically collect limited technical information such as:

 

  • device type

  • browser type

  • operating system

  • approximate log data

  • app interactions

  • crash reports

  • diagnostic and performance information

 

This helps us maintain, secure, and improve the app.

 

3. How We Use Your Information

 

We use your information to:

 

  • provide and operate LIFEPLAN by MYRY

  • display (to you only) your calendar and task information in our interface

  • help you create, edit, organise, and manage your plans

  • authenticate your account and maintain your session

  • sync data between LIFEPLAN by MYRY and connected services you authorise

  • provide customer support

  • improve app features, reliability, and usability

  • protect against fraud, abuse, and security issues

  • comply with legal obligations

 

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use Google Workspace user data for advertising purposes. Google’s Workspace user data policy prohibits selling user data or using that data for advertising purposes.

 

4. How Google User Data Is Used

 

If you connect Google Calendar or Google Tasks to LIFEPLAN by MYRY:

 

  • we access your Google data only to provide the features of the app

  • we use that data to show, organise, create, update, or delete calendar events and tasks when you instruct the app to do so

  • we do not claim ownership of your Google data

  • we do not use your Google Calendar or Google Tasks data for advertising

  • we do not sell your Google user data to third parties

 

Google requires that published privacy policies disclose how Google user data is accessed, used, stored, or shared, and that use be limited to what is disclosed to users.

 

5. OAuth Tokens and Access

 

When you connect your Google account, Google may provide LIFEPLAN by MYRY with access tokens and, where applicable, refresh tokens so the app can access authorised Google APIs on your behalf. Access tokens are time-limited, and refresh tokens may be used to obtain new access tokens where permitted.

 

We store such tokens only as needed to operate the app securely and maintain your connection to authorised Google services.

 

You can revoke LIFEPLAN by MYRY's access to your Google account at any time through your Google account permissions settings.

 

6. Legal Basis for Processing

 

Where UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we generally rely on the following legal bases:

 

  • performance of a contract — to provide the app and its core functions

  • legitimate interests — to maintain, secure, and improve the service

  • consent — where you voluntarily connect third-party services such as Google

  • legal obligation — where processing is required by law

 

7. How We Share Information

 

We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

 

  • with service providers who help us host, maintain, secure, or support the app

  • where necessary to comply with law, regulation, court order, or legal process

  • where necessary to detect, prevent, or address fraud, abuse, security, or technical issues

  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale, or restructuring of the business

  • with your direction or consent

 

We do not sell personal data or Google user data.

 

8. Data Storage and Retention

 

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

 

  • provide the app

  • maintain your account

  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, or security obligations

  • resolve disputes

  • enforce our agreements

 

If you disconnect Google services or delete your account, we will delete or anonymise associated data within a reasonable period, unless we are required to retain it by law or for legitimate security and record-keeping purposes.

 

Google’s policies also require developers to honour user requests to delete their data.

 

9. Data Security

 

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

 

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

 

Google’s API terms require developers to use commercially reasonable efforts to protect user information collected by their API client.

 

10. Third-Party Services

LIFEPLAN by MYRY may integrate with third-party services, including Google Calendar and Google Tasks. Your use of those services is also subject to the privacy policies and terms of the relevant providers.

 

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services that we do not control.

 

11. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we will take appropriate steps to ensure personal data is protected in accordance with applicable law.

 

12. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

 

  • access your personal data

  • correct inaccurate personal data

  • request deletion of your personal data

  • object to or restrict certain processing

  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

  • receive a copy of your data in a portable format

  • lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

13. Children’s Privacy

LIFEPLAN by MYRY is not intended for children under 13, or any higher minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children unlawfully.

 

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and take reasonable steps to notify users where appropriate.

 

Google’s API Services User Data Policy says that if you change the way your app uses Google user data, users should be notified and prompted to consent before that data is used for a new purpose.
