About

MYRY is a London-based artist creating intimate alternative pop shaped by indie electronic textures, melancholic songwriting and cinematic soundscapes.

Her musical influences range from the raw, vulnerable songwriting of Radiohead, Bon Iver and Daughter to the electronic textures of Bonobo, Moderat, alt-J and The xx, and the expansive arrangements of Florence + The Machine.

She has been releasing music since 2020, and became a fully independent artist in 2022, writing, producing, and releasing her own music and music videos.

Her earliest releases were developed in close collaboration with producer James Kenosha (RHODES, WILDES, Birdy, Dry the River, Charlotte Plank, Seraphina Simone), including Ghosts, Stuck in a Loop and Salty, Sweet, and Bitter Rain, which later appeared on her debut EP Season A.

MYRY has also appeared on BBC Introducing, performing live and being interviewed in Cambridge, as well as featuring in a BBC Radio 1 Introducing interview for the For Fans of Lorde segment.

Alongside her work as an artist, she also works part-time as a medical doctor.
